Powerlite Gumball - Head
Here's a closeup that's shows the head of my Powerlite gumball more clearly, note the cast "cap" where a PC socket would be in more modern lights and the ears where the refractor would latch on. I wonder if this could be considered a NEMA head?

The second shot shows the inside of the head and the socket, the screws inside are stuck though. Anyone here have any tips as to getting them out?

As long as it holds a standard NEMA optic, I believe this does qualify as a NEMA head. It'd definetly be odd to see a modern day bucket on this oldie though lol.

Yeah it would look quite odd with a bucket refractors on, on the other a Powrbracket with a teardrop looks equally odd too. Razz

WD40 and a heat gun. A few cycled of heating and cooling will loosen them.

Sean beat me to the tip...that is what I would suggest too!

Update, I got the socket and bracket but the original socket turns out to be broken so I ordered some new parts to fix it.

I guess this light got a power surge/lightning strike at one point since some of the parts are melted...
