The same light is at a Chevron station near my home. It was metal halide but had a clear mercury lamp in it. It was dayburning for about a decade, until the station was remodeled and it was disconnected, though it still stands on the property.

Too bad its been disconnected Sad they shoulda fixed the dayburning & kept it connected.

These are pretty similar to the lights around here, do you know who makes/made them?

These were used here too, but LED light are killing them out. Most of the canopies have a canopy version of this made by Cooper. I don't know if that's who makes these though.

I've seen MH canopy lights at gas stations like the one in your link streetlight98...
I've also noticed LEDs at a couple places.

I remember around ten years ago, some gas stations used HPS in this type of fixture.

I know of one on Acton that still does, and it looks pretty bad..
