Here it is: Another OV-10 I.B.!!!!
This poor guy's missing its access cover but all you need is a piece of sheet metal to make a new one. If you look in the bottom left section of the pic you'll see the other tapered elliptical pole on the overpass. It holds a 1993 M-250R2 which is oddly 250W HPS when the old light (probably another OV-10) was likely 175W MV. I want a bucket truck now. I need to go out and save five OV-10 I.B. lights the scraper. Since the OV-10s are all 175W, when they get serviced they'll be replaced by 100W HPS M-250R2s.

I have seen this! On the overpass over Highway 10. That other light had a boxy M-250A2 100w MV (or maybe it was 175w) and it was later replaced. I think there used to be 4 OV-10s on these wooden pole mounted undersupport arms nearby, good to see 1-2 are stil there as well. BTW I will be in Rhode Island for a week this August so will keep an eye out for these mercs. Wink

Sweet! I absolutly love the OV-10 IB and Form 400 powerpack. Smile What towns/cities will you be near? If you want I'll point out some of the goodies to ya. Wink Most of the really old mercs are on Rte 116 in the Scituate/ Smithfield area.
