Very nice pic! It's so clear! This is what RIDOT currently uses. 12" yellow Siemens signal heads with Dialight LED modules, tunnel style visors, black backplates, signals mounted on pipes that are secured to the mast with a safety chain, and of course there's a NGrid double-truss pole with M-250R2s int eh background. Doesn't get anymore Rhode Island than this. Laughing

This is a pretty dated Dialight model now. The R Y G are two generations old now. The Green Arrow in the head facing front is a GE GT1. I have the same in my four section R Y Y G head.

Hmm what do the current models look like?

They date they were put on was 12\12\12.

Here is a pic of the current Dialight model. The model just before this was the exact same but had definite hot-spot issues. This picture was taken by the same friend of mine who I bought my new four way signal from.

@trafficlight1 The city probably has a ton of the previous models still in the warehouse. Just because they aren't being made anymore does not mean that instantly they will disappear

ahh yes it worked. Smile yes, the Rhode Island DOT is actually in charge of the signals here. I've visited their warehouse off of Jefferson BLVD and they have TONS of signals both new and decommisoned. The decommisioned highway and traffic lights all sit in a pile out back with light poles while the traffic signs are in a huge high-rise room. I got to watch them make an Interstate 295 sign in the flesh. This was when was 8 so i had no interest of lights at the time (i was into signs) so I didn't get any streetlights. It's a shame since i could've gotton a few at the time. Sad

You can call brian or bryan if you like. You are right Pawtucket has alot of leds

I remember Pawtucket (and most of RI for that matter) was incandescent until about 5-6 years ago when they switched 90% of the signals to LED.
