If those are located at a US Post office, it means they still have MV ballast but using a MH retrofit lamps for MV fixtures! I learned that from Dave Desantis!
Well I know almost EVERY US Post Office in the USA very often you would find GE M-400 Silver and grey, Reveres, Silverliners the flatbottoms and the newer ones, and more older MV fixtures found in Post Offices but often they are MH!!!!
Hmm. Here the post offices are always part of a plazza so they have whatever lights the plazza has. The two nearest me both have shoeboxes. I'd love to see some oldies around though instead of shoeboxes lol. Maybe post offices in your area have old M-400s but you can't speak for every post office since you'ev never been to every post office in the states. I know of one post office that had HPS ITT 25s but they were replaced by MH shoeboxes when the place was remodeled a few years ago.
