There is a spot replacement with another droopy AEL 115 on this stretch of upsweep arms. They don't mount them that poorly as of the recent spot replacements I've seen popping up though.

Remember the 400W OVX duble arm with shattered glasses on Dixie? They replaced the whole set. The new OVX's have larger drop glass! And it's the first time I've seen a tall aluminum pole of another manufacturer used too. I can tell by the arms being mounted lower and a new cone-head style top cap.

Yeah its actually 2 poles or so behind me in this photo Yeah I noticed that a month or two ago, it looked different from all the other pole replacements.

UPDATE: the hit concrete median pole with 2 OVX's knocked off on Sandalwood has had 2 new OVX's reinstalled (with the new bigger drop glass and levelling steps utilized )

Can you get a pic of the OVX with the new glass? I've seen OVZs here with the new glass but OVXs aren't used here.

I would love to see a Cooper Lighting OVX with the newly redesigned refractor too.

I don't know if I'll like it though lol. I think the OVZ looks better with the new glass (since I had always preferred the plastic lens shape in the OVZ) but I hated the plastic lens in the OVX and the new glass is more rounded like the plastic lens so the OVX might look funky lol.

Personally, I think rounder lights look better with rounder refractors and vice-versa. An exception would be the OV-15. I think the squared lens of the OV-15 looks better than the round OV-25 lens, though that;s not why I prefer the OV-15 over the OV-25. I prefer the OV-15 because it uses lower wattages and it's smaller so it's easier to store lol.

We had a few OVZ with the bigger glass but I think they have been removed due to construction. I don't like the bigger glass on the OVZ. I like it on the OVX though. I know of about 11 of the new OVX installations in my city. I will try to get a photo up as soon as I have the free time to do so.

The new glass isn't bigger it's just rounder. Actually, i think the new OVZ/OVX lens is the glass that powerlites used. Also, thanks in advance for the pic.

The bigger glass on our OVZ's look like This except theres close to none around now.That one in streetview is actually gone along with all the other OVZ's there are OVF's there now. Yeah I hope to get it maybe even this weekend if I can get around to it

that's a plastic lens in the link you posted. the new glass is the same shape but shallower. See here for the new glass lens on an OVZ.

Model25: try to get the new OVX's on the new style aluminum pole too if you can! I thought they refixtured Research Road in Brampton with OVF LEDs like the new subdivision I saw. Turns out they're 150W HPS! what a TEASE!!! Why OVF 15HPS?!?!

I haven't been over there in a while but why did they eve bother retrofitting such a small road ? Theres only room for 4 cobraheads at the most. They could have just replaced them with AE 115's
