Ah, the ingenuity of installing heavy, awkward fixtures by yourself! I had the top end hung but I thought this was enough for a good pic...like something Jay Lenno would appreciate!

yeah and especially F96 fixtures are really difficult to flush mount yourself! Shocked i have done a few

I've heard of taking the ballast out of those ones to mount them to reduce the weight!
I don't want to be under this light though (It's over my head right now) if we have another massive earthquake like that magnitude 7.5 we had this January...which didn't break a SINGLE lamp! Laughing Shocked

FLUSH mount an 8ft fixture. man I had issues trying to flush mount a 4ft fixture lol. That's why the 1973 shoplite is suspended lol. I was originally going to flush mount it but it came with the suspension brackets and there are no holes on the top (well i forget if there are lol) so I just bougt two eye screws isntead. I should have bouhgt hooks though... Instead of buying new hooks i just bought a S hook so that it's easier to install/remove fixtures.
