GE F40CW Mainlighter at the end of the road after doung some serious swirling/arcing at the end! This happened on a 2-lamp HPF rapid start ballast, shunted to run one lamp.
Well, that spent 1976 cool white Mainlighter didn't last even a full minute on an electronic ballast with 600v OCV. Actually, it was a pretty cool show since one of the lamps (they're wired in parallel on a single-lamp ballast; sometimes just one of the two or BOTH will light! became disconnected at one end which made for some partial dim-glowing as the lamp was losing vacuum! I never captured that part on video I don't think...II'll have to check.
