Clear is greenish, coated is more like a CW fluorescent, depending on the lamp the /DX phosphorus can be kinda pinkish when lit especially sylvania

RI lost 4 wide-lites this month, but got 25 more since 2010 and 27 if you include the ones I got. LEDs are crap they don't reach the ground

I'd personally use a coated lamp since they're brighter and the light is more diffused but it really just comes down to what you prefer.
