yeah this ballast is designed for 34W lamps (model number is ....234.... for 2X 34W lamps) Just 0.45A for two 40W tubes? That's just terrible. Laughing

It was not very bright on low line voltage with 40w lamps, that's for sure! Laughing

Oh wow, it draws a measly 35w for both lamps. Laughing I have the HPF version of this, called the Epak34. Also have them in 347v too, I use that pair as my monitor stand. Laughing

That's something cool to look at while doing computer work!
Yeah those EPAK34 ballasts run 40w too, albeit dim, right?
