I guess the OVX Learned from his older cousin

Here's my OVC mounted "floodlight style" like an OVX can be. I "cheated" and mounted it using the stopper, which prevents the mast arm from going too far into the fixture. You can see it's angled up so much that the back side of the door is level lol.
