Shed Light Upgrade

A couple weeks ago I did alittle 'upgrade' to the shed lights...

On the right is one of the original fixtures - a LOA 2xF40 electronic preheat
On the left is its replacement - a 4xF40 troffer (the T8 ballast shown was swapped for a pair of LPF RS that I had laying around...so yeah the thing will suck in the winter(not that the LOA's were good))

A brief bit of history on the troffer:
A few of these was something gotten cheap at a local flea market years ago (ballasts were 2, 2xF40T12 HPF)...

2 of the units got installed in the kitchen as an upgrade to the original 2xF40 strips (which looked stupid in a 2x4 space)...

At some point I upgraded from the F40 ballasts to a 4xF32T8 electronic - the one you see (mainly for energy saving)...

Then a couple years ago the kitchen was gutted & remodeled, the big old 4'x4' light structure needed to go too. Replacement lights are nice slim F28T5 strips. At that point the old fixtures simply got stuck out in the garage against a wall...

Then a few weeks ago the thought crossed my mind of putting them in the shed (which also got the big old beasts out of the way .lol. )
