BRAND NEW 2016 Ripley Photocell!

Custom ordered as a 2.0ftc model instead of the standard 1.5ftc. Made less than two months ago! This one will stay in the plastic. I had wanted a 2.0ftc one so that they would make it to order, since most of the PCs made are standard 1.5ftc ones, which they probably make in large numbers and keep a stock of for large orders. But I doubt many people specify 2.0ftc, which is why this PC was essentially made-to-order.
I ordered this through Ryan. He was ordering a couple of Ripleys and I added this to the order and send him the dough for it to combine shipping. Thanks again! I like this lighter color gray. When the colors are so dark, they all look black and it's hard to tell what color cover they have from the ground (defeating the purpose of even having the color-coded covers to begin with).

I agree with you on the cover colors. The reason for the darker colors is to prevent sunlight/UV from shining through the plastic cover, which triggers a silicon eye unit to switch off. The dark green, blue and brown photocontrols LCEC has used here recently are difficult to tell what color they are from a distance sometimes. I prefer the lighter shades for colors like gray, blue, maroon, green. Although I do like the darker ones too.
