Coldwater GE's arrived at my house
After the 3 hour trip back both signals sitting in my basement. I bought both, but I had interest expressed on one of them, so I plan to keep the one on the right in this photo and the other was sold awaiting pickup.

Absolutely stunning! Would have been awesome to have a matching pair, but given the size of these you'd probably like to save the room for a different 4-way you might stumble across. Smile I haven't seen any 4-ways in service here. Not even beacons. Sure would be a treat to see one though!

They arent too terribly big. Heavy, yes. This signal is my heaviest at about 100 pounds. My Crouse Hinds Type M four way is the other four way in my collection. The M is restored, my GE will be left as is with a framed photo of it in service mounted on the wall next to where it will eventually hang. I also had a Type D art deco four way I sold a few years ago

Very nice! I agree a matching pair would be nice but yeah they're a big on the larger side. I guess a GE one way would be a good match for it though. I can see it shares some similar design features as my GE 8" signal.

Yeah, I wasn't that surprised at the size when I bought my Marbelite 4 way but more of the weight. I'm pretty such mine also weighs close to 100 pounds. I left mine as-is and wired it up.

My Type M four way is about 80 pounds but it carries a little less weight. Aluminum reflectors and thinner top and bottom plates help. The GE reflectors are all a heavy glass. The top is also much thicker.
