My 1979 General Electric Powerflood!
|
Got this from member slz (Steve Zalimas) this past Friday. Check out his regularly-updated For Sale page here!
This has a 120/208/240/277V ballast. It's a typical 4-coil GE "regulator" ballast with the capacitor in series with the lamp. And like any 4-coil GE regulator I've seen, it's obnoxiously loud. 400W MV, wired for 120V. These guys are oddballs since to access the lamp, you remove four screws and life the BACK of the fixture off! (Note how the yoke mount is attached to what most would assume to be the door?) Everything except the PC socket is mounted to the stationary part of the fixture. There's no top to the reflector so to relamp, you just stick your hand in the top of the reflector.
