Powerlite/Sylvania B2227
|
Here's a Powerlite/Sylvania R37 fixture, It has a remote mounted photocell for some reason and a optional "seagull accessory" inserted into the photocell receptacle. Oddly there was also a seagull on this same fixture in Google Streetview.
Here's a shot of the fixture tag:
Click to enlarge, there's no date on this one though unlike my Powerlites.

They also try to pry open the shingles so they could go inside the attics (happened to my neighbour) and they like to live under decks/porches but covering up the space underneath will take care of that.
Even the later ones like the R47 and the R7. My guess the nameplate fell off from the ones that you are trying to get. The mini gumballs were supposed to have one too but the one on mine fell off in service.
If you do get them, I'm curious what the interior layout is and what brand of ballast they used. The Canadian ones used mainly Sola Canada and Ballastronix components.
I'm also curious about the layout. Hopefully the lights aren't too taken over by bees nests or anything else that could be living in there. Probably half a gallon of muddy water inside those refractors lol.
Hope you can get them and stay safe .
I hope so too lol I have it all planned out. Just need to make sure nothing unexpected happens lol.
