GE F20T12/KB, surprisingly it's spent!
The blackening you see here is the only traces visible. I knew then it was a broken electrode, which my ohm meter confirmed. The lamp ran on an electronic ballast for the pic.

I consider installing my electronic ballast in an F20 fixture channel to run spent F20s. I can grab as many as I want at my local recycle centre, so it would be a pretty inexpensive supply of light, what do you think guys?

for me it'd depend on how the ballast would be affected.

would doing this harm the ballast in anyway?...and do you plan to use the ballast normally after using this setup?
