cool!.....how excactly do those lenses work?

Fixed focus 116 watt lamp, and fresnel lens. when lit looks like a programmable signal without the limiting effect. They were banned and pulled off the market because the lens cause bad phantoming at times of the day it was completely impossible to tell which light was on.

so these basically do nothing useful?

these were better in the engineers head then actual use.

I don't blame them on that one! It's also good to test in a none traffic area first too!
