This intersection is under construction, and has a poles on pads/bases with counter weights, the 332 cabinet is on a pallet, most likely bolted to the concrete.
I notice they are using the skinny metal pole for the signal pole.
In most of southern California, new signal poles are usually unpainted which aluminum poles. (The most common exception is Los Angeles, which usually uses the skinny poles for new signal poles as well as lamp poles)
Hey dbz, welcome to Galleryoflights.org! Seems like you are interested in traffic lights! Looking forward to seeing more traffic light interests in this page
3rd st & 215fwy SB onramp, San Bernardino, CA. The freeway is getting widened an during the work they set up temporaries. I have seen temporary span wire signals on this project, I'll get a pic if they do it again.
Interesting temporary set up, here we always use span wire set ups on wooden poles, sometimes some of the old signals pole will also be kept in place until the end of the work.

Which intersection is this picture of anyway?
I noticed that they were removing the overpasses carrying the exit ramps for some reason.
