Welded?..suggests to me the housing is sheet and not cast...i dunno.

Most shoe boxes are sheet and not cast, some floods too.

I know the GE PF-400 is. I've seen one up close. (it was in use, but as a flagpole light, so i didn't get it.

Yeah the brochure in the link does suggest that these are sheet instead of cast.
