Econolite "RackVision". This monitor is plugged into one of the modules (EB). The green area puts in a call that a car is present, black = no car. Signal icon show current light color.
Using Autoscope Rackvision? Do you run a processor in the cabinet for each camera? Did you ever work with Autoscope Encore or SoloTerra equipment? We use Iteris here...and I use Peek VideoTrak in my own collection
It wouldn't have any trouble because it detects change in the pixels in the video picture. The pixel change factor can be adjusted with the video detection software, that way sudden changes in pixels...like a bird or debris flying by the camera lens isn't seen as a detection call. The video processor in the controller cabinet learns what is the background and if the pixels change significantly in the detection area it places a call.
I have video detection in my own basement intersection display and it works great
The initial background picture would be changed. The background is noted when it is powered on. The technician configuring the processor must wait till the camera gets a clear shot before activating so it can learn what is considered background. It will detect people if the pixel change factor is high enough. It detects me as I walk into the basement I have two cameras, one for each direction.
