Still using top exhaust method at elsewhere? I understand that the tipless came out sometimes in 1919.

The first gas filled lamps in the USA had visible exhaust tips during '13-'18. Should be the same time frame for Canadian lamps as they are identical to US lamps in design.

@Gull, yep the Mazda C gas filled lamps of the 1910s were the first to feature modern coiled filaments.
