Found this lamp this way on the shelf.......
.....And [b] bought it! [/b]

I bought it because I was really curious if it even worked or whatever. It didn't look cracked...and there was another tube that wasn't as serious as this one....so I thought maybe a little bit of water went in or something..or running out of phosphor!

Cool! I bet it works , they just were sloppy on the phosphor like some of the 40W phllips Alto lamps which are decent lamps anyways

This one looks to be th 25W 4Ft lamp?

Cool that you can look right in & see the filament.
Those Ace lamps are just re-branded GE's so they should be decent lamps. I got a few of the 40w version earlier this year
