Yep, nice and shiny! I'm working on getting a setup where I can take proper side shots. The ballast on the sports lighter is huge! In fact the whole light is.
My thought is I could get a yardblaster arm and mount it to one of the posts with the small mounting holes, I would use through bolt since I wouldn't trust screws to hold the arm in place. I would never store the lights there, just put them up to take pictures and maybe light the yard on special occasions.
If you can make a stand similar to your traffic signal's stand, you can fit a yardblaster arm on top of the pole and it will look kind of like a davit in a way. just make a heavy base. EDIT: your idea sounds good too.
I could see about that but it would have to be a heavy base, maybe some concrete blocks sandwiched between two pieces of plywood. I don't have a conduit bender but could get access to one easily, the only problem is I would want to use 2 inch pipe which is impossible to bend by hand, another option is I could use steel piping like I use for my signal stand and put a 45 degree fitting in and then another piece of pipe to come out a little more, it would be a lot of work and it would have to be heavy! I may do it some day though, I've thought about it before.
@Niall, so many Powerlites in there.
