At this point, there will be failure with the gear Razz

However, as the time goes on with the original bulb, the lumens will depreciates...

I Like Induction...but they seem to have Reliability issues with the Circuits that Drive them.....let's just make Lifeguard,Bonusline, and Banner Mercury Lamps Again..Problem Solved. Smile

well its about 2 weeks old and were in summer mode hmm i wonder how long
lite_lover   [Jun 01, 2010 at 03:26 AM]
Looks like this could be a 70W induction lamp and gear.

I've seen this in Carlsbad, CA. They are around 5000K and emit a nice diffuse light similar to coated mercury vapor.

Mvrocks, did you get my PM? I really need you to respond before to tommorow.
mercuryvaporrocks   [Jun 01, 2010 at 03:24 PM]
Yes I did, sorry I was not able to respond since my power went out last night.
LilCinnamon   [Jun 01, 2010 at 05:41 PM]

Colorwise its better than HPS..but nothing beats the Alluring Glow of a Mercury Vapor Lamp!
GullWhiz   [Jun 06, 2010 at 04:50 AM]
Those are really nice in my opinion.......Target if they have 2 floors uses them over their moving stairs!
mercuryvaporrocks   [Jun 06, 2010 at 04:46 PM]
It would be nice if they invented something with the same color rendering and reliability of mercury vapor.
prawnman88   [Jun 06, 2010 at 05:12 PM]
yeah i just went by again it is a new fixture i thought it was the old one its a newer ae ? so the old hps is gone jus tthink guys hps is going bye bye now like merc was back then full circle theory
Form109   [Jun 07, 2010 at 04:24 AM]
i Partially think the reason that mercury vapor lamps last so long is because that Mercury isn't Corrosive in Nature like Sodium or Halide Salts..which seem to Attack the Lamp Parts Actively when the lamp is lit...mercury on the other hand is Fairly Inert (Toxic Though)
prawnman88   [Jun 08, 2010 at 01:39 AM]
well ill keep track of this light every few months
