This arm is THE Line Materials arm! It shows in the top upper bracket mount....
Form109   [Feb 23, 2011 at 01:35 PM]
who makes the ballast then? Smile
GullWhiz   [Feb 23, 2011 at 02:13 PM]
Zoom up the label of the ballast and find out, and by that, I mean go back there, use your SLR camera....ZOOM your camera to the ballast and the label! Take a pic!

I found some of the cylinder ballasts in Frederick are Universal branded! But there are also some other ballasts I haven't yet to find out.
Form109   [Feb 23, 2011 at 10:15 PM]
the ballast is a naked can. Smile
GullWhiz   [Feb 23, 2011 at 10:22 PM]
Dude...it doesn't get labled like a tin can....instead it gets labeled with a small metalic plate screwed or rivited on the can.....you gotta look around it to find it...its usually engraved....
Form109   [Feb 24, 2011 at 10:20 PM]
sure?...it looks like a soup can, might be some chicken noodles in there. Wink

Imagine seeing a ballast can like This one on the pole. Laughing
Form109   [Feb 06, 2012 at 10:17 PM]

Too bad it's gone. Neutral
Form109   [Feb 06, 2012 at 10:31 PM]
yeah the small towns seem to keep their mercury longer but that couldn't last forever.

If this light had been in the City of Pittsburgh, it would have been replaced a long time ago. It's sad to see streetlights like this disappearing.
streetlight98   [Feb 06, 2012 at 11:22 PM]
Sad to see this go. Sad
