Philips HPL-N Powertone 125W Mercury Vapour
Here's a 125W mercury lamp that's more common in Europe, but I think this one was made for Canada or at least for North America as the sleeve says E26 on it. The only place I could think of that used these lamps here was flood lights that lit overhead highway signs. I got this lamp at Rona, this lamps runs pretty well on a 100W H-38 ballast.

Is this /DX?

Yep I believe it is (or something close to it).

Thanks! Are you going to put this in regular service in a yardlight or something?
joe_347V   [Apr 02, 2012 at 02:19 AM]
Probably not since it's such a odd lamp here. I have a Sylvania 100w MV in service in my yard though.

Cool! I am guessing you love MV lamps also? I do! I only have one MV light, though

Yep! I have five factory MV yardlights, the rest were converted from HPS using MH ballasts. Razz
