according to the Easthampton DPW. They are now in the Process Finding an LED replacement Town and country post top light for all the subdivision neighborhoods. That will pretty much make Easthampton 100% LED. Rolling Eyes

That sucks. Here, the few post tops around are owned by the contractors that built the development, so it resides with the contractor whether or not to go LED.

Actually, I found out the lights are actually leased by National Grid to the contractors. O_o NGrid only buys GE stuff, so we don't have to worry about LED post tops here- hopefully.

AGGGHHH!! I'm still waiting for them to come out with a LED NEMA head thoguh lol. Maybe then IDA will ban LED. Laughing Rolling Eyes

IDA (thankfully) cannot ban anything, just try to get it banned. I can't picture a LED NEMA, I think NEMAs are really becoming obsolete with newer lighting technologies.
