Well they added timers to every intersection around this mall now.
These
are now gone as of today. I saw them take them down. I like these new Fortrans better than the other common fortrans that have been replacing everything and especially the part that holds it, very thick.

Interesting, York still has some intersections with no timers. Ugh, they took down the Econolite Bullseye signals...I was hoping to get a pic of them before they took them down.

Ahh that's good to know, the pedestrian signals are still fairly common around the GTA lol.

The Ped signals there were also inconsistant there were fortrans with only the LED hand and walk. 1 Fortran with the incandescent walk. A eagle, and the rest were something else i think

Was the incandescent walk on the Fortran still in use or was it disconnected?

They've recently been replacing a bunch of ped signals here with dual-section timer units here too. A waste IMO since the few people that actually cross in crosswalks here don't use the pedestrian signals...

Over here they like to retrofit a bottom section to single section signals when installing the timers. The brands usually are different so the signal just looks weird after they retrofitted it.
The retrofitted incandescent ones had the hand/man unit fitted in the top and the timer in the bottom.
