Unable to connect to database err

Last night when trying to post a comment on a picture I got

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: User disaster_gole already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

After that the site didn't give anything but errors when trying to view anything (maybe some sorta server blip? seems to be fine tonight )
Interestingly it did post my comment (twice actually - since I tried posting it 2 times before giving up)

um.. maybe I spoke too soon, because I kept getting

Yeah I get those errors sometimes too. They typically don't mean anything lol. Just a glitch that happens sometime for an hour or so.

Yeah, I've noticed lately (Within the last week or so, maybe less) that the site is really slow and won't always load.
