This was built around 1997-1999

Wow, this actually looks good in HPS, less glary than MH or CFL lit parking garages I've seen. (although it would make it easier to recognize your car)
BTW I love the HUGE concrete building, for some reason I've always liked concrete structures...I think that looks awesome with the thick concrete and HPS lighting...although with MV it would be really cool!

there's less glare because the lamps are recessed in the space between the girders. Fluorescent lit parking garages look very uniformly lit. The Providence Place Mall parking garage used 175W MH lights until October of this year when LED fixtures were installed. I haven't been to the PPM to see the new lights though since my parents hate that mall. The Warwick Mall is closer and much more open so you don't have to go hunting around the mall looking for the one little exit to the parkign garage, as there isn't one.

Hmm, it looks pretty nice for HPS. Anyways most parking garages here built since the mid 90s use MH or more recently LED/Induction/T5 fluorescent. There's still some older garages with 8' HO fluorescent though.

8' HO? Really cool!

yeah even some that have suspended ceilings with 2X4 troffers and tiles, some are even rapid start T12, they work well down to 0F just if they have a cover and 40W lamps, and run 24/7

I have seen some lots that have 8' HO tubes. Not sure if they still have them.

BTW the lights are Holophane Bantam 2000s.
