When all the emitter consumed, the lamps operating on these ballasts exhibits only a very dim glow discharge.
Since then, when the lamp replaced to T8 of 36W (No more T12s imported to Israel), the ballast also replaced to Shaingout Electronic-Start with an Arlen Pulsestarter electronic starter included.
