As the internal pressure is much higher than that of a regular HPS lamp, this lamp takes 2 min to restrike, compared to 30 sec for my Osram NAV-TS 70W Super 4Y.
One thing that I've noticed, is that the sodium in this lamp takes a while to vaporize, even compared to my Venture MH-DE 70W UVS PDX pink MH lamp. I don't know why?
