Coseup of ballast in M-250 R2.
As you see the ballast is held in by two brackets from my 250 watt MV ballast, which I can't use. xD

It looks crowded in there. xD Well this ballast was made for the M-400 R2 not the M-250 R2 so. xD

At least it fits without touching the housing!

They did make 400 watt HPS M250R2s, I knew of one (I say knew because it has been replaced by a OVX) not to far from me. This is crazy though, this should only have up to a 150 watt HPS lamp.

Yeah same goes for other small lumes with 250w+ HPS lamps in them. (cough OVX cough)

I know of some 400w HPS M-250A2 on the interstates here in RI.

Well in about a week... Or more.. I will have a new 175 watt Probe Metal Halide ballast in here! I could even light a 175w MV and I will put a fresh-new Custom Made NEMA tag on here. When the new ballast get's put in here I will show pics! I will try to have the wiring nice and tidy. And this ballast in the pic will be made into a ballast box whenever I can.
