I did keep it, mainly for the cap, the ballast is burnt and the ignitor is smashed, the door is cracked. I'll just add to the scrap pile for recyleing. It is a 100w HPS.
The M-150 was available in 250W? Interesting. So the M-150 is the version with the boxy front and boxy top housing, right? Then the 1st generation M-250A2 had a more curved top housing but used the same boxy front (so the refractor door and power door were the same). Then they introduced the current incarnation of the M-250A2 with the curved top and curved front in the 90s? I like the boxy housing M-250A2 best. Not too big a fan of the new M-250A2 fixture. I like the older 80s style M-250R2 too. They changed something with the M-250R2 over the eyars but i can't quite put my finger on it. The older M-250R2s look more like a M-250R1 (but slightly smaller) the newer M-250R2s look a little more chubby than the older ones. Kind of like how Cooper beefed up the OVZ in the mid-2000s when they redesigned the hinges.
Ahh i see. Were the M-150 and M-250A made at the same time? There are 100W MV full cut-off M-150s here i guess. I always thought they were M-250A2s but they have the original boxy top housing. Was the M-250A2 made in 400W too at one time? There are a few 400W HPS M-250A2s here but they're the 90s style round top/boxy front style M-250A2s.
